Re: AGM Day - Live Feed

The thing i find funniest is, if we're to believe those proxy votes were not harvested, then after everything that's happened, everything , 6,000 members took the time to vote to say we trust the board that was installed by the old board who did such an amazing job of trashing the brand, and not th...

Re: AGM Day - Live Feed

Statements of "more than 75%" support for the first four resolutions make it sound like you won the popular vote, even it the turnout was only 5%! As I pointed out, the Board resolutions passed with 3% of the membership - hardly a mandate and a poor reflection on the Board's ability to engage with ...

Re: email from NSW Divisional Council

I've emailed Divisional Council because I don't believe this statement to be true 2) Give an Undirected Proxy by nominating someone to be your proxy (e.g. the chair or anyone else who will be there) to cast a vote at their discretion on the day. This means that the nominated proxy will vote with the...

Re: D Day has arrived for CPA Australia Members.

Brett,

How can the Chair and Board vote (for themselves and undecided proxies) for resolutions in which they have a pecuniary interest. Surely, under principals of good governance they should excuse themselves from voting and leave the vote on those matters to the members?
