Merry Christmas to Peter Wilson. When it was suggested that Peter Wilson should be independent of the old board so that we can have a fresh start Peter responded with "That's your issue". Summary of the meeting here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=594

Thanks Brett for the update. Thanks for leading the change. You spoke when majority were silent. I think we are all waiting for the IRP report. Will be interesting.

Re: Call for volunteers - Phone campaign - promote the spill

I have done my names. The file is attached with my notes. At least one person signed up, they had a problem with the survey and I walked them through how to sign up. A lot of people are on leave. Might be just because a lot of names assigned to me are from Greece, and Greece is beautiful at this tim...

Happy to take 100 names as a start. I will probably contact them through LinkedIn and/or email which I will research myself.

Re: SPILL MOTION gathers momentum

Added another $100 to my Facebook campaign to make more members aware. So far my first $100 sent 95 members to the survey. Not a huge number, but hopefully they tell some colleagues too. Basically this is the best way I know to keep reaching the members. Only targeting Australia right now. Let me k...

Well now the site is up and running, with contacts, we could look into obtaining email addresses from the directory. You can honestly pay a freelancer $100 and they will go through each and every contact and copy the email. What do you think?

Re: CEO terminated effective today!

sent them an angry email. Not sure if it'll work. Dear board, How on earth do you justify paying Alex $4.9million given the damage he has done to our brand? Since I've joined the CPA, all that has happened is the cheapening of our brand. This is to the extent that I was rejected from several roles ...

Re: A Path For CPA Renewal - s249D Call for Members meeting and next steps

Regardless of a gag order or not. When you are in the position of a DC you have a responsibility to bring such risks and issues to membership. You are a representative and this representation comes with responsibility. So I would agree with Brett, I would not be so keen on divisional councillors and...

Re: A Path For CPA Renewal - s249D Call for Members meeting and next steps

I have been just told that CPA volunteers might have a legal confidentiality "gag" placed on them. Divisional Councillors etc have something called a Deed Poll (I haven't seen the actual document), which among other things, doesn't allow them to bring issues with anyone but CPA HQ directly.

I like Jens letter, very well structure. I also love the idea of forwarding the concern to ASIC, this way there will be work done on a few fronts. Well done all.

Re: Lets meet our directors, and hold them to account individually

Did you guys notice that all directors who are left are or were members of " Nomination and Remuneration Committee" which obviously thought that Alex Malleys remuneration is more than reasonable and that the $4.9 payout is just acceptable. Not mentioning their own pay packets.

Re: A Path For CPA Renewal - s249D Call for Members meeting and next steps

I think it is important to find ways to increase member engagement and reduce apathy. A lot of issues with apathy and non engagement come from the prohibitive cost of being involved. And CPAA board knows that and banks on that. In order for me to even attend an AGM, I will need to travel to Sydney a...

Re: CEO terminated effective today!

I completely agree with Dave's comments. How can I contribute to the fighting fund? The remaining directors & senior management will not go willingly. Their DNA is all over the crime scene. They have a lot to cover up/spin. Legal action will be needed to get back our organisation. A truly independe...

Just would like to say thank you all. I am honoured to be a member of an organisation you all are part off. To be honest without active members like all of you who managed to create change I doubt CPAA would have lasted for long.
