Merry Christmas to Peter Wilson. When it was suggested that Peter Wilson should be independent of the old board so that we can have a fresh start Peter responded with "That's your issue". Summary of the meeting here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=594

Re: AGM Day - Live Feed

My hope is now that the Transition Strategy Team (TST) go ahead with their plan to use the Corporations Act to have a Court appoint a provisional liquidator where "directors have acted in their own interests, or where the affairs of a company are being conducted in a manner that is unfairly prejudic...

Absolute whitewash.

Proxy harvesting.

I just find it so hard to fathom that the board can do whatever they like and there are no consequences.

Re: Proxy Voting at AGM

Is anyone else feeling as pessimistic as I am about the AGM tonight? I just have a bad feeling that the Board, having harvested as many votes as they could out of the international members, are going to trump all the member resolutions tonight and all we will end up with is motion 1-4 passing. And I...

Re: CPA Australia members are 'being taken for a ride'.

All really good points Brett.

The board are really hoping that they can just keep their power and keep just moving forward with their 'nothing else to see here mentality.

I intend to vote against all 4 board resolutions and vote for all 10 member resolutions...i think that says a lot!

Re: How to vote in AGM 2018? If I can't attend in person?

How is the voting done in person at the AGM??

I have never attended before but plan to do so this year.

Are votes cast electronically and confidentially?? Or are there ballot papers?

Re: New CEO + Awty leaves 23/3

With all the individuals, who created the problems gone, the new board, can go to the AGM and blame the past administration and keep saying, its time to move forward. This is exactly what will happen. Peter Wilson made it very clear at the member forum that cpa will focus on moving forward. They ha...

Magnet. I would encourage you, to ask all your fellow CPA friends to attend the AGM, and then ask questions of the individual who knows a great deal of answers. Adam Awty CEO CFO COO etc. Adam Awty actually was in attendance on Monday night at the forum. But he did not say a single word. Actually c...

Report: Member Consultation Forum - Melbourne Monday 5th March

I attended the Melbourne consultation forum last night and thought I would give an very brief run down of how it went. First to say that I attended this session with an open mind. I am not involved with any CPA groups and have only been a qualified CPA for 1 year. So I went in wanting to hear what t...

Re: Promoting Alex Malley, instead of CPA as an organisation

Just a quick update on the purchase of the coffee shop. Yep they bought the coffee shop. It's been confirmed by a reliable/senior source on the inside. Apparently Alex had some plans about what he wanted to do with events and it fit into that plan. Don't worry, I'm sure the purchase of a coffee sho...
