Merry Christmas to Peter Wilson. When it was suggested that Peter Wilson should be independent of the old board so that we can have a fresh start Peter responded with "That's your issue". Summary of the meeting here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=594

Re: AGM Day - Live Feed

6,953 of 122,000 voting members of CPA Australia voted on Tuesday evening, that is (a)pathetic. There are approximately 115,000 voting members that are dis-engaged, that is the problem with CPA Australia. Gerrymandered members from NSW and Victoria would you consider splitting from CPA Australia and...

Re: 9 New Directors Announced to the Board

Due to previous positions held with CPAA via Divisional Councils or otherwise the following appointments are of concern to me;

Chin Aik Wong
Ric De Santi
Robyn Erskine

We need a clean break from the past and this is just one of the many reasons why members should vote for Directors.

Happy to help Naked.

To ensure the message is consistent, is there or do we need to develop a standard list of issues/script?

Re: Saturday Extra - ABC Radio National

Depends on your definition of "achieve". If achieving is acting unethically and in ones own interest, I haven't achieved much at all. If "achieved" means acting ethically, to the benefit of your employers, shareholders, customers, your team and wider community I am very comfortable to say I have ach...

Interesting, if it cost $4.9M to get rid of MA, what will it cost to unwind the CPA Advice debacle?

Re: What are the next steps? 12th June 2017

Dickson mentioned in his missive that there would be "feedback" sessions at the divisional offices with representatives of the Board present. Does anyone know when that is happening? There is a Divisional Committee meeting tonight for SA - i got this response from the SA President of the DC this mo...

Re: All members are welcome to say what they think. I think.

All, it is disappointing that there is so few opposing comments supporting the current actions of the Board. As a member/supporter of the "rebels" I want change but also would really like to understand/hear the argument for the status quo. As I have mentioned to my Divisional GM I would have preferr...

Re: They have lost sight of reality 16th June 2017

More deflective responses, when are the leadership going to behave as leaders? Instead of continuously mentioning the media - address the issues being raised! Houston and McPhee clearly have or have had a personal relationship with Malley - conflict of interest = they cannot be independent. As some...

Re: They have lost sight of reality 16th June 2017

An independent review - as previous posters have mentioned, there is a personal relationship with Malley here! There has to be a perception of independence as well as real independence. A lost opportunity to start rebuilding trust with the members. The other comments that got my attention was “Alex ...

Interesting that the CPA Australia Members Group is still been moderated.

While some negative comments are still posted, my comment referring to this website was just moderated.

Re: Promoting Alex Malley, instead of CPA as an organisation

Stumbled across this on the web. http://www.saxton.com.au/alex-malley/?t ... er-profile

Interesting its does seem like a brand Malley exercise.
As he donates his fee to charity I hope he does this in his own time and not while on the CPAA tab.

Re: CPA Losing the battle with CA

I think the observations made in this thread highlight the problem with CPAA's focus, that is increasing numbers without a plan to keep the CPA qualification relevant. It also identifies that this is not a organisation focused on its members needs and requirements otherwise Nate1 concerns would have...

This is how FINSIA elect their Directors. Think the CPAA Board needs to include this one in their review! There is even a brief description of each candidate. How novel!!!!
