Merry Christmas to Peter Wilson. When it was suggested that Peter Wilson should be independent of the old board so that we can have a fresh start Peter responded with "That's your issue". Summary of the meeting here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=594

Re: Alex Malley - branding

Good evening WTF, I must confess that I find your train of thought attractive . . . branding Alex Malley would probably gain approval from many disenfranchised CPAs. Unfortunate that such an activity has become unfashionable in polite society, but let me pause for a moment and enjoy a warm glow as I...

Re: Brett's Response to IRPanel Preliminary Report

Hey Brett! An excellent response to the IRP report . . . but please give credit where it is due . . . at least this time Ian McPhee managed to restrain himself from gibbering enthusiastically about Alex Malley driving his "bright orange Datsun" up that steep, winding road to leadership greatness. Mc...

Re: Interim Report and Posting Guide

Onya antiwarclan! The board and its Naked CEO (God help us . . . that puerile nom de plume should have rung warning bells!) can't be allowed to just walk away from their appalling behaviour. This band of self-satisfied dolts spent years using CPA Australia as their own personal cash cow . . . the on...

Re: Interim Report and Posting Guide

I loved the line . . . "the board could have handled things better". What planet do these people live on?

Be thankful for small mercies though . . . at least this time Ian McPhee restrained himself from gibbering enthusiastically about Alex Malley's "bright orange Datsun".

Re: CPA Australia Awards Night at Vladivostok Social Club April 2017

Excellent, Brett! Your article perfectly captures the surreal absurdity of CPA Australia holding it's AGM in Singapore. I am reminded of the top-rating Skyhooks song from 1990 . . . "Jukebox in Siberia". "Get down, get down Vladivostok, all the Russians love to rock! To that Jukebox in Siberia, Deep...

Re: 15 Aug 17 - Independent Review Panel Communique

Brett, I like the line about possible legal redress for past wrongs. The responsible people must be made to pay for the idiotic and possible criminal behavior of those who controlled CPA Australia during the years of The Naked Halfwit. Our prancing clown, Alex Malley, only got to enrich himself at o...

Re: Time for a change in management at CPA Australia

With you all the way JWheldon . . . without a thorough house-cleaning at CPA Australia all of Brett's efforts will have been in vain. The prancing show-off (albeit a rich one!) Alex Malley, was but the tip of the iceberg . . . he had many well documented supporters who must answer for their actions....

Re: Announcement from the Board of CPA Australia

At the risk of appearing to be a snivelling sycophant, I can only agree with the sentiments expressed above. We must all work to eliminate the tedious level of bureaucracy in CPA Australia and return it to its original purpose, a simple organisation representing professional accountants . . a not-fo...

What is going on with messages being obliterated by rows of commas?
Can this be rectified, please?
Bloody annoying!

Re: Message from Mr McPhee about Independent review requesting submissions.

Hi Magnet, well said! The best way to advance our cause is for all of us to present a united front in our individual replies to the Independent Review. There are less than 600 members on this website . . . we need to speak with a united voice. It is the only way we can have any real impact on the re...

Re: Independent Review Update

I loved the line . . . "we encourage interested parties to engage with the process". It seemed rude to ignore such a fulsome invitation, so I took the opportunity to direct a question to Ian McPhee, asking if he was embarrassed by his endorsement of Malley's ludicrous book and if, in fact, he had ev...

Thanks JWheldon, for this extract from "In the Black", advising all accountants to be on guard against corruption.

Hi Jen,
Good news about passing 50% mark, and paid advertising is certainly a good use of the fighting fund.
Would it also be worth placing advertisements in major newspapers?
For all I know, the cost could be prohibitive but at least worth checking it out.

Good morning, Naked Webmaster.

Please show some restraint . . . you are simply reinforcing IDK's point.

A little more logic and a lot less frothing at the mouth would be helpful.
