Merry Christmas to Peter Wilson. When it was suggested that Peter Wilson should be independent of the old board so that we can have a fresh start Peter responded with "That's your issue". Summary of the meeting here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=594
A good summary of where we are up to by Joe Aston of the AFR, linked to from here: viewtopic.php?f=5&p=4137#p4137

Re: 16 April 2018 - Joe Aston - AFR - WA's Auditor-General Caroline Spencer can't remain a CPA director

So the fact they have responded to this article but have remained silent on all others might suggest to me that they had ground to refute this potential problem. What about all the others, by their lack of action all other AFR articles must be on solid ground?

Re: 10 Apr 2018 - AFR - Numbers game as losses lead to big cuts at Chartered Accountants ANZ

I do not think anyone can compare an open review into a failed business venture to what CPA did with Advice. Without the hard work and dedication by the troublesome few destabilisers the CPA debacle would still be hidden from the members, let alone the public. From my reading ICAANZ has publically a...

Re: What do members think of "InTheBlack" magazine?

After terminating my membership with CPA in December I still receive the email distribution of INTHEBLACK. Obviously my concerns over the direction of CPA and the fact they are a bunch of crooks does not exclude me from the mail list which I am sure is fed to advertisers. My name is still worth some...

That makes me angry!     What an absolute load of crap So CPA has grown again back in 2016. WTF I thought we clarified we had 155,116 financial members. I still wonder how many of these international members are full/voting members as my queries to the board were never...

I am with you all the way theallseeingeye and Steve Hamilton and left with similar feelings. I am concerned no member resolutions put forward for the AGM will get air time. They will be deemed defamatory/against constitution/against law/etc by the board or buried deep into a ridiculously long and fl...

Re: ABC - Entry exams and fail rates

I never questioned the course itself...if I couldnt pass the subjects they set, I would have realised that perhaps accounting is not the job for me. The exams are hard for a reason...if you can't pass them then maybe think about a different path. Steady on there young fella. People come from differ...

Re: Out with Malley in with Malley 2.0?

Now the 2017 year is complete would a new s202B notice be worthwhile with information from the following year being "freshly" prepared by the new board. A fresh audit as well. I have terminated membership now so I cannot help but still want the bastards held to account without my money.

Re: AFR 13th Dec 2017 Prof Stephen Taylor on why not renewing CPA membership

My letter to them today. Dear CPA Board Members Please treat this email as a written complaint. I am writing to advise that I wish to renounce my membership with CPA Australia, terminating immediately. CPA 9173564 I do not wish to be associated with the CPA brand any longer. Some 15 years ago I prou...

Re: AFR 13th Dec 2017 Link between CPA Australia and Peter Wilsons AHRI

The one research output, a joint research project, "Ethics in Business", that used the member databases of both bodies was released in July under AHRI's brand only. Mr Wilson said that marked the effective end of the co-operation agreement between CPA and AHRI. So AHRI was running an ethics in busi...

They buried the s202 remuneration report in a million page document of utter crap and they will bury the resolutions in the same way. Become a bit of a glass half empty kind of thinker with these unethical pricks.

7 October 2016: The Board unanimously approved that CPA Australia’s and the former CEOs mutual notice period be increased from two to three years. Really.... If they want a unified CPA moving forward just allow the members to appoint a new board. This is n...

All in practice have until 8 October to join IPA of CA, I think ATMA also has PSC recognition, otherwise lose the limitation of liability benefits
Is anyone able to confirm IPA is a party to PSC limited liability scheme?
