Merry Christmas to Peter Wilson. When it was suggested that Peter Wilson should be independent of the old board so that we can have a fresh start Peter responded with "That's your issue". Summary of the meeting here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=594

Re: Out with Malley in with Malley 2.0?

Now the 2017 year is complete would a new s202B notice be worthwhile with information from the following year being "freshly" prepared by the new board. A fresh audit as well. I have terminated membership now so I cannot help but still want the bastards held to account without my money.

Re: CPA Membership Fees

I renounced my membership today ensuring they cannot count me at year end. Today's announcement would have been the only reason for me to stay, but again they failed to deliver anything but disappointment.

Re: AFR 13th Dec 2017 Prof Stephen Taylor on why not renewing CPA membership

My letter to them today. Dear CPA Board Members Please treat this email as a written complaint. I am writing to advise that I wish to renounce my membership with CPA Australia, terminating immediately. CPA 9173564 I do not wish to be associated with the CPA brand any longer. Some 15 years ago I prou...

Re: AFR 13th Dec 2017 Link between CPA Australia and Peter Wilsons AHRI

The one research output, a joint research project, "Ethics in Business", that used the member databases of both bodies was released in July under AHRI's brand only. Mr Wilson said that marked the effective end of the co-operation agreement between CPA and AHRI. So AHRI was running an ethics in busi...

Re: Methinks we lost the war

They buried the s202 remuneration report in a million page document of utter crap and they will bury the resolutions in the same way. Become a bit of a glass half empty kind of thinker with these unethical pricks.

Re: 21 Nov 2017 - Independent Review Panel Communique

7 October 2016: The Board unanimously approved that CPA Australia’s and the former CEOs mutual notice period be increased from two to three years. This decision was made in an in-camera session of the Board (without the CEO present). 20 October 2016: The former CEO was informed in writing that the ...

Re: 21 Nov 2017 - Independent Review Panel Communique

I will add my name to the straw poll of responders. 16!!! WTF Surely more people have thrown a grenade at their recommending another review responses and lack of decisive action. That is unless of course the same spin masters are employed by the IRP as the previous board... I too won't be renewing m...

Re: Announcement from the Board of CPA Australia

What a joke. Do they truly believe members will be happy with their half baked idea that they can appoint new members onto remuneration committee, new directors onto the board and a new CEO. Really.... If they want a unified CPA moving forward just allow the members to appoint a new board. This is n...

Supposing the board isn't replaced by next year hopefully anyone who is going to leave cancels membership prior to 31 December so they don't ram retention down our throats again even though a bunch of members have left by the time of the agm

Re: 28 June 17 Money Mgnt - ASIC Medcraft has no regrets on CPA Advice

All in practice have until 8 October to join IPA of CA, I think ATMA also has PSC recognition, otherwise lose the limitation of liability benefits
Is anyone able to confirm IPA is a party to PSC limited liability scheme?

Re: A Path For CPA Renewal - s249D Call for Members meeting and next steps

I am all for spilling the board and getting the CPA back into the hands of the members. However, I stop short on labelling all people on divisional councils as complicit with the board and possibly smearing their reputation. I, as the rest of us could have pushed to have these problems aired and res...

Feedback to CPA

Pretty small issue in the scheme of things but has anyone noticed no emails coming out have got a feedback function? In the Malley interview with "The Business" at 6:15 he states that every email that leaves CPA Australia from a staff member calls for member feedback. At 6:30 he also states that the...
