Let's look in detail at our directors individually so the term 'the board' does not minimise their individual responsibility for decisions made and oversight in relation to many of these issues.

Perhaps The Cyclist misheard what Alex was saying ...
No thats exactly what he said. "CPA owns the copyright to my image"
As was commented just after this " So you're the Colonel Sanders of CPA" to which he replied "Yes"
Now knowing how he likes to spin facts its hard to know whether this is the truth or not. And as I said in my review I've never heard of anyone being able to sell the copyright to their image- perhaps a caricature or some other representation but not their actual image.

I'd imagine that CPA Australia would own the copyright to the images. But that does not mean new images. I don't think it's so unusual. E.g. when an actor does a commercial etc.
A bit of a funny thing though is The Naked CEO book has a photo of his parents on their wedding day. So who gave permission for that to be used? Anyway who cares really.
Copyright in the text would be with CPA Australia as well. I think it's a pretty bad book. I have reviewed the prologue so far. See the forum on this discussion board. I've already found 2 really bad pieces of advice, lie and regulators are combatants. I'm not expecting much from the rest. I'm not sure how far I will get through the book before Alex resigns.
